Donation Program

Clothing for ages 0-12 years from all brands, shoes, outdoor clothing, toys, books, equipment, accessories, as well as maternity and nursing clothing and items.

IN GOOD CONDITION - avoid stains, holes, or defect

Washed and placed nicely in a bag or box (thanks!)

How credits work

  • We give credits on clothes  from 1 to 5 based on the size, value, condition, and popularity. Larger equipment can earn more credits depending on its resale value and condition.
  • Not all items will be credited. For example, if they are very small (such as socks, baby hats, etc.), if they are too old, or if we find imperfections.
  • Your credits can be accumulated and give you discounts on SECOND-HAND ITEMS ONLY.

We cannot give you specific feedback on each item and their credits - you will only see the total of your credits in your account OR you can ask us the total in person. It’s simply too complicated for us, given the different ways we assign credits.

However, we are very fair! We are very grateful for your donations and the contribution you make to small businesses like ours and to the environment.

How rewards work

Discounts can only be applied to second-hand items

  • 40 credits = 10% DISCOUNT
  • 80 credits = 20% DISCOUNT
  • 160 credits = 30% DISCOUNT
  • 200+ credits = 40% DISCOUNT

NouLuv Buyback Program

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY, AS WE ONLY ACCEPT SPECIFIC BRANDS AND TYPES OF ITEMS. WE MAY NOT ACCEPT THE ITEM FOR RESALE DEPENDING ON DEMAND, SEASON, OR CONDITION, 

HOWEVER, YOU CAN ALWAYS DONATE TO RECEIVE CREDITS INSTEAD.

All your items must always be:

  • RECENT collections (about 3-5 years old)
  • From the provided list
  • In excellent condition (please no stains, holes, defects)

WHAT YOU CAN RECEIVE

  • 40% cash on our second-hand resale price.
  • If the item is not in the described condition, we will deduct 10-15%. 
  • Buybacks depend on value, demand, season, and condition. 
  • Option for in-store credit (10% bonus) ON SECOND-HAND ITEMS ONLY.

Bobo Choses, Kyte Baby, Mini Rodini, Whistle & Flute, Rylee & Cru, Nununu, Creamie, Bajoue, Coccoli, Parade Organics, Little Yogi, Stonz, Bogs, Natives, MimiTENS, Caribou, Olang, Keens, MEC (certain items), Petit Lem…other locally made brands.

Outdoor clothing and accessories

We buy high-end snow, rain, and other outdoor accessories (mittens, boots, baby nests, etc.) valued over $150 new (e.g., Helly Hansen, Deux par Deux, Patagonia, North Face, Colombia, Souris Mini, Reima, etc.)

Brands not accepted for buyback

We do not buy the following brands, but you can donate them for credits as described in our donation program: H&M, Zara, George, Children's Place, Joe Fresh, Patpat, IKKS, Cat & Jack, Romy & Aksel, Carters, Oshkosh, Aubainerie, etc.

Equipement et Accessories

IN PERFECT CONDITION - CLEAN, NO RUST, RECENT (not older than 5 years). If they are battery-powered, please show us that they work with batteries or plugged in.

  • Sports equipment (skates, balance bikes, scooters, accessories)
  • Strollers
  • Noise-canceling headphones, nightlights, alarm clocks
  • Life vests and floaties

Consignment

We offer consignment with a 50% commission – ONLY ON ITEMS VALUED AT $200 AND ABOVE (e.g., strollers, high-end equipment).

YOU WILL BE PAID ONLY AFTER THE ITEM IS SOLD.

Process

1.

Fill out the Google form or bring your items in person (be ready to leave them with us at the store.

2.

We will contact you to inform you if we will accept the items or not. You can then bring them, and we will inspect them. We will contact you by email within 10 business days to inform you of the price we will pay you. You can accept our offer by replying to the email. If you do not accept our offer, you can come pick up your items.

3.

If your items need to be cleaned or repaired, we will deduct 10-15% from the commission. You will also have the option to leave them in the store as donations.

4.

You can be paid immediately via Interac or PayPal for a $1 fee, or you can wait until you have accumulated $150 and be paid without fees at that time.

**We do our best to give you the best possible price - we research each item considering its average value on the second-hand market, its new price, and potential discounts and sales. All of the second-hand clothes and items we sell in the store have been washed and cared for so they can find new homes that will appreciate them as much as you did!**
